The Central European Congress of Emergency Medicine and Disaster Medicine is the annual congress of the Slovak Society of Emergency Medicine and Disaster Medicine, and the main national meeting for emergency physicians, paramedics and hospital emergency-department staff. The 2026 edition was the 16th international congress (and 29th national congress of the society).
The three-day programme covers new trends in pre-hospital and in-hospital emergency care, with recurring blocks on acute cardiology, toxicology, mass-casualty incidents, implanted devices and new technologies, alongside practical workshops, interactive case discussions and audience voting.
