Powerful Medical has been named MedTech Innovator 2025, winning MTI’s Mid-Stage Grand Finals—top honor from the world’s largest medtech accelerator. The award recognizes PMcardio and its FDA Breakthrough-designated Queen of Hearts™ AI ECG technology, which doubles sensitivity for detecting severe heart attacks and significantly cuts ECG-to-balloon time in large clinical trials.

New York, Nov 24, 2025 – Powerful Medical today announced that it has won MedTech Innovator’s (MTI) 2025 Mid-Stage Grand Finals, earning the prestigious title of “MedTech Innovator 2025.” This award is the top honor from the world’s largest life-science accelerator.

As a finalist, Powerful Medical competed at the MedTech Strategist Innovation Summit, November 19-21, 2025, in San Diego, California. Powerful Medical presented PMcardio with its FDA Breakthrough-designated Queen of Hearts™ AI ECG technology that enables early and accurate detection of severe heart attacks — particularly STEMI and STEMI equivalents — across pre-hospital, point-of-care, and emergency care environments.

“Winning MedTech Innovator’s 2025 Mid-Stage Grand Finals competition is an extraordinary achievement,” said Martin Herman, Co-Founder & CEO of Powerful Medical. “This recognition validates our mission to transform acute cardiac care. With PMcardio and the Queen of Hearts AI, clinicians can diagnose life-threatening heart attacks with twice the sensitivity of the current standard of care — and do so at first medical contact, when every minute determines how much of the heart can still be saved.”

Powerful Medical just recently made headlines with its late-breaking clinical science data presented at TCT 2025, demonstrating that using the Queen of Hearts STEMI AI ECG model to analyze electrocardiograms (ECGs) significantly improves detection of severe heart attacks while reducing false-positive cath lab activations five fold.

Further strengthening these findings, the largest RCT of AI in cardiology—the multicenter DIFOCCULT-3 randomized controlled trial with 6,000 ACS patients—demonstrated that integrating Queen of Hearts AI into clinical workflows resulted in nearly a 5-hour decrease in ECG-to-balloon time. This marks a significant improvement in the timeliness of definitive treatment.

Together, these landmark results position Powerful Medical to reshape first-medical-contact diagnosis and the global standard of care for severe heart attacks.

In the 2025 MTI cohort, selected from nearly 1,500 global applicants, Powerful Medical took home the title of MedTech Innovator 2025 and won the Mid-Stage Grand Finals.

About PMcardio and Powerful Medical

PMcardio is a diagnostic and care coordination platform developed by Powerful Medical, a medical device manufacturer specializing in AI-driven cardiovascular diagnostics. Clinically validated to detect 49 cardiac conditions from an ECG, it identifies acute heart attacks up to three hours earlier and with twice the sensitivity of the current standard of care. This enables timely and accurate triage in emergency settings. By reducing treatment delays and door-to-balloon times, PMcardio facilitates optimized care for chest pain patients. Already class IIb CE-marked under EU MDR in Europe, and pending FDA approval, it enhances acute cardiac care by supporting faster, more confident clinical decisions.
