Boris is an AI pioneer with over 8 years of managerial experience, dedicating the last three years to the complex field of ECG interpretation. His background in mathematics, physics and programming allows him to translate abstract concepts into practical applications. As the Head of AI at Powerful Medical, Boris expanded the software team, contributed to multiple patents and leads the team that designed medically certified AI.

Timea is a physician specializing in cardiovascular OMI AI-related research, in charge of the global external validation studies as a Clinical Research Lead at Powerful Medical. With a background in biomedical sciences and a medical degree from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, she strives to merge cutting-edge medical technologies with practical clinical applications.

Dr. Ward Heggermont is the Co-director of the Aalst Hospital Cardiovascular Center and an esteemed cardiologist with a particular focus on the diverse aspects of heart failure. During his career, he also developed an interest in where he developed an interest n the overlapping scientific fields of cardiology, virology and metabolism. He continues his scientific research at the OLV Aalst Heart Center and at CARIM, focusing on epigenetics and biomarker research.

He possesses a PhD Doctorate in Medical Sciences and holds esteemed certifications as a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and a Fellow of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (FEACVI), showcasing his extensive expertise in the field. Dr. Penicka has been an integral Heart Center OLV Aalst member since 2009.
