At Powerful Medical, we are building a global life-saving technology. Our certified product diagnoses cardiovascular diseases (#1 cause of death globally) by scanning ECGs using AI and machine learning. We’re cooperating with leading healthcare providers and are backed by US and European VCs.

We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Grant Program Manager who specializes in grant writing and grant project administration. This position will play a pivotal role in identifying, applying for, and managing grants that support our research, development and operational goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing funding from governmental agencies, private foundations, and other funding bodies.

Your role

1. Grant Proposal Development:

• Research, identify, and evaluate potential funding opportunities
• Write and prepare compelling grant applications, including gathering necessary documentation and coordinating input from various stakeholders
• Manage the entire grant application process, including budget preparation, timeline creation, and obtaining necessary approvals and endorsements

2. Project Management and Implementation:

• Serve as the main point of contact for funding agencies throughout the grant application and implementation process
• Oversee the implementation of funded projects, ensuring that project activities run according to the grant terms and conditions
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and manage project timelines

3. Reporting and Compliance:

• Prepare and submit reports to funding agencies, detailing project progress, financial expenditures, outcomes, and impacts
• Ensure all project activities comply with the funding agency’s guidelines, regulations, and reporting requirements
• Maintain project documentation, including grant agreements, financial records, correspondence, and progress reports

Your profile

• Experience managing projects funded by at least one of the following agencies: Plan obnovy SR, EU Structural Funds, EIC Accelerator. Experience with multiple agencies is an advantage
• Proven track record of successfully securing grants from governmental agencies, private foundations, or other funding bodies
• Excellent project management, writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of funding agency guidelines, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Medical background is a big plus

Monthly salary: 2,000 – 3,600 EUR (depending on seniority) + equity
